Andrew Steinkuehler, is marketing director of Shmerykowsky Consulting Engineers. He is currently based in New York City. After graduating from the University of Kansas in 2006 with a B.A. in English Literature, Andrew worked as a language instructor in Bogota, Colombia and later as an IT support technician in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He joined Shmerykowsky Consulting Engineers as a copywriter in August, 2009. In the intervening months, he has learned more about steel, and about engineering, than he ever anticipated when, in 2005, he convinced a college friend to drop out of the engineering program to pursue an MFA in Poetry. He says he would like a cat, but has some real doubts as to whether he's ready for that kind of responsibility.
