Andrew Steinkuehler, is marketing director of Shmerykowsky Consulting Engineers. He is currently based in New York City. After graduating from the University of Kansas in 2006 with a B.A. in English Literature, Andrew worked as a language instructor in Bogota, Colombia and later as an IT support technician in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the intervening months, he has learned more about steel, and about engineering, than he ever anticipated when, in 2005, he convinced a college friend to drop out of the engineering program to pursue an MFA in Poetry. He says he would like a cat, but has some real doubts as to whether he's ready for that kind of responsibility.
