Call for Papers - Structural Fire Engineering
Posted by Alison Trost on December 2, 2009 at 11:51 AM.

The Sixth International Conference on Structures in Fire (SiF’10) organizing committee invites academicians, researchers and practitioners from around the world to submit abstracts on structural fire engineering topics. All materials must be submitted by December 31, 2009. SiF’10 will be held June 2-4, 2010, at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.

The abstract should be about 250 words and must provide a clear summary of the proposed paper. It should include the title of the paper and full contact information of the authors. It should also contain sufficient information for reviewers to assess whether the proposed topic is in the scope to the conference and whether the abstract has sufficient and relevant new information.

Send abstracts, depending on the topic, to:

Paulo Vila Real for steel and composite structures at pvreal@civil.ua.pt

Jean-Marc Franssen for numerical modeling at jm.franssen@ulg.ac.be

Andy Buchanan for timber structures and fire protection materials at andy.buchanan@canterbury.ac.nz

Venkatesh Kodur for concrete structures and any other topics at sif10@egr.msu.edu

All accepted abstracts, both oral presentations and posters, will be invited to submit full papers, which will be published in conference proceedings.
