Check out YouTube to watch the erection of a truss at the Palomar Medical Center West project in Escondido, Calif. The truss spans 105 ft and will support a green roof above the operating suites of the new hospital. The 750,000-sq.-ft project, fabricated and erected by AISC Member Herrick Corporation, will use 13,000 tons of structural steel. Click here to view video.
