Atlas Tube (an AISC member), a division of JMC Steel Group, recently announced the launch of Atlas Connection, the company’s free online forum for designers, engineers and other professionals who work with hollow structural sections (HSS).
Atlas Connection provides helpful information and support for professionals involved in the design and specification of HSS. By joining the online forum, designers and engineers can find the answers they need for specific questions and participate in peer-to-peer exchange of relevant product information, customer support and supplier information via discussion threads, videos, blogs, how-to’s, case studies and more.
“We look forward to Atlas Connection strengthening customer relationships by helping members gain faster access to relevant information they need,” said Jelani Rucker, director of marketing and business development at JMC Steel Group.
Industry experts including Jeffrey Packer from University of Toronto; Samuel M. Rubenzer, P.E., S.E., for FORSE Consulting, LLC; Brad Fletcher, structural engineer at Atlas Tube; and others will be available to answer questions on Atlas Connection as well as lead online Q&A sessions and respond to individual questions within specific threads. Forum members can also contribute HSS design ideas, best practices and support information, as well as stay up to speed with news feeds and social media while sharing videos, images and documents with others.
Atlas Connection is monitored and secure, and registration is free. For more information and to sign up, visit www.atlasconnection.com.
